Many speakers, wedding entertainers, and Emcees are sensitive to the overuse of certain words or phrases, including those considered to be cliche. Popular targets are, “At this time…” and “Ladies and Gentlemen”. “Mobile” DJs, in particular, enjoy counting other DJs’ use of these terms as much as a Toastmasters group counting “Ahs” and “Ums”.
